I don’t generally tend to follow procedures – especially in art and more specifically in making colors. I just always finally get the color of my own choice, somehow :-).
But yeah, the wheel has always been a systematic way. It was nice. Thanks for the tutorial, Magny.
The wheel is not a rule, but if you get stuck, or if you are not getting the effect you want, then the wheel can help you understand and make it work. I realised that the colours in the wheel and the colours in the rainbow follow the same sequence, so love it when i follow the wheel i get a natural harmonic effect.
